This stunning "barn conversion style" home
is one of just 3 properties found in this exclusive gated community.
Rarely will you have the chance to own such a unique property and
although it looks similar to the neighbouring 2 homes, each one is built
to the owners' individual specification. This particular home has only
ever been lived in by its existing owner and it has some amazing
features that are sure to set it aside from anything else you may have
the chance to see.
Although it is not a detached house, it does
have the feel of being so, and due to the clever design of each of the
houses, the living rooms do not share a party wall.
What really
sets this house aside is its character. The grand entrance is just one
superb element, while the high, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams add a
rustic feel, plus the beautiful Stoneham country style kitchen adds
more than a touch of class and it is sure to be the hub of this
wonderful home. The layout is versatile in that it can be used as either
a 3 or 4 bedroom house, depending on your family's needs and it has
modern touches, such as 2 en suite bathrooms, a utility room and under
floor heating.
The location is ideal if you have children to
consider. Not only is it close to some excellent schools, it is also
ideal for access to the motorways, with amenities such as Bluewater
Shopping Centre on the doorstep. At the same time, it is secluded and
tucked away, giving a great sense of privacy and serenity.
What the Owner says:
The
old wooden barn was once a derelict site, but was lovingly and
sensitively rebuilt by my family in 2000 to 2001. There are just 3
properties here, all still owned by our family and, as such, we have
never felt the need to separate the lawn section of the garden. It has
worked well for us up till now, but if the new owners would prefer to
have their own garden space, we are happy to work with them to ensure
they get the feel they want for their family.
The house has been a
fantastic family home, and we designed it carefully to ensure all the
rooms felt spacious. The kitchen is my favourite room in the house, it
is a great place to entertain friends and family and to enjoy the odd
glass of wine.
