Property description
A
charming property occupying an enviable position within the beautiful
and award winning village of Eynsford, with its variety of historic
landmarks all set in the stunning Darenth valley. The property truly is a
piece of village history, dating back, we understand, to the early 15th
Century, forming part of a medieval Coaching Inn. The property has been
restored and maintained with much care and attention to detail,
retaining many original features, such as oak latch doors, stripped
timber floors and a stunning Inglenook fireplace that dominates the
living area. To the exterior the wow factor continues with views to the
front over to the church and the landmark bridge and Ford, which
attracts visitors from far and wide. The true jewel in the crown,
however, is the secret garden accessed via a pathway with gated access
to a truly spectacular space that has been made for the true lovers of
outside living and entertaining. The garden has power running to it with
feature lighting enhancing the beautifully landscaped and planted
borders, but it does not stop there as the garden truly is a space for
all the seasons with the addition of a wonderful summerhouse equipped
with power, light and heating, so that no matter the weather, your
little haven is there for your enjoyment and to gaze at your own garden
of England within the garden of England. Transport links are in easy
access of the property with train stations serving central London and
access to all major trunk roads, this property does not disappoint.
What the Owner says:
We
love living in Eynsford village and being set back from the river, on
summer mornings we love sitting out the front with a cup of coffee
watching the world go by.
The garden was completely overgrown
when we moved in and we have enjoyed making our "secret garden" a
special place to relax and enjoy summer barbeque's.
One of our favourite things to do is to go out in the beautiful countryside.
